BBC staff on strike at BBC Bristol with supporters, 28 March 2013.
The BBC strike over pensions has demonstrated great solidarity as NUJ members who work for the BBC went out on strike across the country.
NUJ members from Bristol and beyond were out on picket lines despite the damp conditions, to stop the BBC pensions robbery.
NUJ members will be joining the picket line here in Bristol, Friday 5 November, in support of BBC staff who are fighting to defend their pensions.
The NUJ banner and branch members will be outside the main BBC building on Whiteladies Road on Friday from 8 a.m. until lunchtime, to show solidarity with striking colleagues.
SEVENTY per cent of NUJ members at the BBC have rejected its latest pension proposals, in a ballot result which means plans for a series of strikes and other industrial action are going ahead, with the threat of a Christmas walkout on the cards.
